So I got my license finally last Tuesday, but now I can't drive at all because I don't have insurance or a car. Before I got my license my mom and stepdad told me not to worry because we'd figure it after I got it (HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE LKFJSLDFKS) and I told them then, I've been telling them for MONTHS, that I can't pay for insurance because I'm saving for college and I spend four days a week working my lovely unpaid job that will be my future, so I can't just ditch that. They told me to just get it anyway just so I have it, because they aren't going to be driving me around my senior year.

Now that I have it, they're saying that they're not paying for my insurance or letting me drive their cars, and that I should ask my dad and stepmom for money. When I told them that that wasn't their job to pay for it, they said it didn't matter, just because I have my license doesn't mean I have to drive. So while I could at least drive with someone else in the car before, now I can't drive at all.

HOW DOES THAT WORK WITH THE 'NOT DRIVING ME AROUND MY SENIOR YEAR' THING.
